This inventive retention of the existing building, which is being fully
refurbished, will not only reduce carbon emissions by retaining the structure
of the original building but also see the introduction of air source heat pumps
and photovoltaic panels to reduce reliance on natural gas throughout the
building’s operation.
In addition to benefiting from the project’s strong sustainability
credentials, the units at Greenlight Redditch will feature Category A office
space and cycle parking. Units 1 and 3 will also include balcony space for
employees.
Benefiting from connectivity to the A4023 Coventry Highway and situated
just 15 miles from Birmingham city centre, Greenlight Redditch is a prime
location to accommodate the growing number of innovative businesses springing
up across the West Midlands. Mark Enderby, Delancey Real Estate’s director of development,
said that the company was thrilled to secure Honeywell, a firm dedicated to
driving technological transformation for a sustainable future.
